COUNTA

Returns the count of values in a list of arguments including text, logical values, error values, and empty text.

Syntax

COUNTA(value1, [value_n])

value_n Additional values or ranges in which to count the number of values. Optional

Examples

Count all non-empty values

=COUNTA(A1:A4)

Result ⇒3

=COUNTA(A1:A3, 4, 5)
