# PERCENTILE

Returns the k-th percentile of values in a range

## Syntax

```
PERCENTILE(array, k)
```

## Arguments

| Argument | Description                                                      | Required |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- | -------- |
| `array`  | The array or range of data that defines relative standing       | Required |
| `k`     | The percentile value in the range 0..1, inclusive              | Required |

## Examples

### 90th percentile of test scores

=PERCENTILE(A1:A7, 0.9)

Result ⇒93.2
