# STDEVP

Calculates standard deviation based on the entire population

## Syntax

```
STDEVP(value1, [value2])
```

## Arguments

| Argument  | Description                                             | Required |
|-----------|---------------------------------------------------------|----------|
| `value1` | The first number or array of numbers in the population | Required |
| `value2` | Additional numbers or arrays                             | Optional |

## Examples

### Population standard deviation of scores

=STDEVP(A1:A5)

Result ⇒ 4.8826
